Some of the specialities of Skopelos island are the Skopelitan cheese  pie, and tasty pie with greens. The tasteful grouper fish casserole with onions (stifado) and a fabulous dish with boiled "trahana"  consisting of milk and grated wheat.
You can taste the specialities in restaurants, tavernas,in summer festival in July and Augoust or you can buy them from many shops on the island.
The traditional deserts of Skopelos are the  famous “avgato” (sweet made with plumps), "hamalia” (sweet made grated almonds and rose water) a varriation of this are “Rozedes”. There is also a jelly in a jar with marmalade from almonds. 
You can find these tastful homemade products  In bakery in market or in summer festivals on the island.
